MY PROGRAM:

I accept Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-kindergarten, Kinder-Prep, Kingdergarten and school-age children (After School). I plan developmentally appropriate activities according to each child's age, strength and needs.  I focus on the whole child, and work on all areas of developmetal domains.

 

 

PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT:

I focus on physical health and well-being, healthy eating habits, potty training, independence, and self-help skills. I also focus on motor-skill development (both gross motor and fine motor), coordination, mobility, and exercise. All of these help ensure your growing child has a healthy body for a lifetime.

 

LANGUAGE AND LITERACY DEVELOPMENT:

Your child will learn about paying attention, self-regulation, speaking and listening, pre-reading & pre-writing skills, reading and writing skills, responsive listening, and using language. 

 

SOCIAL EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT:

Your child will learn to communicate with others and will gain the confidence, self-esteem, and negotiating skills necessary for a lifetime of healthy relationships. He/she will learn to express themselves and understand their own emotions and unique identities, value their individuality, and just have fun being themselves!

 

COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT:

Develomentally appropriate cognitive activities in reading, writing, science, math, creativity and art and dramatic play (imagination) are important. Children learn by experiencing the world around them through play. These activities support development of judgment, problem solving, perception,memory, reasoning, critical thingking and language through play.

 

My program also includes:

• A consistent daily schedule and routine

• Regular conferences on children's progress

• Day-to-day information on children's routine, activities and development. (daily notes that are sent home)
